Hi guys! I'm going to be honest with you, not much has happened until just the other day. I've decided that I am going to drop out of ASU. Let me explain for a moment, hold your horses! I live on a military base with my parents in Jolon, CA. To live with them I needed to be a full-time student. I wanted to go to school anyway to further my education of my passion, so I didn't see a problem. Turns out, the age is 21 and not 18 to have to be a student. Not only that, but financially it's costing me a little over $5000 just for my fall semester!! In the end, my one Bachelor's degree is roughly $50,000; the equivalent to one of my mom's Bachelors and Masters degree. Not only that, but then there's the Parent Plus Loan that's $9,400 that my parents have to pay because that loan has to be under their names (we didn't accept it because of that). I thought I've done enough research on schools and although they had the perfect degree, it's best to leave. Now, I say this because yes I'll have to pay $5000, but this means that now I can save money better and possibly have two jobs. I can save for a car or an apartment. I have heard that having a certification is better than a degree or two. With that being said, grab your popcorn and sit back and relax because life is about to be crazier than it is!
